Do Sereno Screens replace my existing windows or doors?
No. Sereno Screens are custom-made to fit within your existing window and door openings. They work alongside your current frames and glazing rather than replacing them.
What if my window or door isn't a standard size?
Every screen is custom-manufactured to your exact opening dimensions. Whether you have a standard sliding door, a large patio opening or a unique size, we can manufacture a solution to suit your space.
How accurate is the instant estimate?
The instant estimate provides a realistic budget indication based on the dimensions and product selections entered. Final pricing is confirmed once measurements and product selections have been reviewed.
Can I measure the openings myself?
Yes. You may provide your own measurements using our downloadable measuring guide. We will review the information and contact you if any clarification is required.
Do you offer professional site measurements?
Yes. We offer a professional site measurement service for R450 within our service area. This amount is credited against your final order value should you proceed with an order.
What's the difference between Insect Mesh, Blockout and Dual Screens?
Insect Mesh screens provide airflow while keeping insects out. Blockout Screens improve privacy and light control. Dual Screens combine both functions within a single retractable system, allowing you to switch between airflow and blockout as required.
Do the screens retract when not in use?
Yes. All screen systems retract neatly into a slim aluminium housing when not in use, helping maintain a clean and uncluttered appearance.
Can the screens be installed on existing aluminium doors and windows?
Yes. In most cases our systems are designed to integrate with existing aluminium windows and sliding doors without major alterations.
Can the screens be installed indoors or outdoors?
Depending on the application, screens can be installed internally or externally. We will recommend the most suitable configuration for your opening.
Are the screens suitable for large patio openings?
Yes. Our systems can be manufactured for a wide range of opening sizes, including large sliding and stacking door openings.
How long does delivery and installation take?
Once your order, deposit and final measurements have been confirmed, manufacturing and installation are typically completed within 10–14 working days.
What frame and fabric colours are available?
Frame finishes are available in Black, White, Gold and Bronze. Fabric options include White, Light Blue, Grey and Brown in both blockout and light-filtering honeycomb configurations.
What happens after I pay my deposit?
Your order is confirmed and scheduled for manufacturing. We will keep you updated regarding production, delivery and installation arrangements.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. All products are supplied with a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Full details can be found on our Warranty page.
Where do you operate?
We currently service Durban and surrounding areas. Delivery-only options may also be available depending on location.
